Environmental Management

Based on concern about global climate change issues, making good use of earth resources and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities, PVI had actively conducted to the ISO14001 Environmental Management System to further implement environmental protection policies. We had followed environmental management regulations for many years and obtained certificates through third-party verification and audits.

 

Air pollution prevention and control

PVI had installed control equipment to reduce the impact of discharged air pollutants on the environment. The equipment had equipped with continuous automatic monitoring facilities to ensure that emissions meet national emission standards. Relevant equipment is maintained daily, and perform emission testing annually to ensure that emissions meet national standards in accordance with regulations.

 

Waste management

In terms of management, process recycling is the focus and then followed by reuse. For the storage of un-recycled wastes, we set a dedicated area to prevent from scattering, and entrust legal operators approved by the competent authority to clear and transport the wastes; Currently, solid waste is also transferred to Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) to turn waste into energy, not only replace coal to reducing carbon emissions in boilers or power plants, but also reduce the total amount of waste, and help to reduce the burden on overloaded incinerators.
