PVI cooperates with advanced raw material suppliers and customers to develop polyurethane foams, polyurethane elastomers and polyurethane adhesives  technologies. These technology are widely applied to human body pressure relief insoles(PU foams), pressure relief gel (PU gel), skateboard racing wheel (Casting PU elastomers), industrial load-bearing wheel, chemical mechanical polishing pad (CMP pad) for wafer planarization, semiconductor conveying equipment pulleys, reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive (PUR adhesives) for vehicle lamps assembly and textile lamination, two-component polyurethane adhesive for food packaging and thermoplastic polyurethane based adhesives (TPU) for the shoes bonding.

PVI focuses on fundamental researches, technologies application of polymers and composite materials, and assists customers in their development as a hidden champion in the industry. 
For examples: 
In PU foam application, PVI cooperates with IV technologies Co., Ltd. (18th Yushan Award) to develop chemical mechanical polishing pad materials for conductor wafer planarization, and assists PVI chemical Co., Ltd. to develop many kinds of insole products for Dr. Scholl brand.

In PU elastomer application, PVI assists customers to develop skateboard racing wheel products with low friction coefficient, high shock absorption and excellent continuation, which have been widely responded to by the consumer market (U.S. NHS Fun Factory and the French business Decathlon). 

In adhesive application, PUR adhesives help customers (TYC Brother Industrial Co., Ltd..., etc.) provide product reliability and trustworthiness in Taiwan's automotive lighting manufacturing industry.
